These terms apply to golfweatheriq.com, run by Golf Weather Intelligence (“GWI”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

GWI is a free information site for golfers. It shows golf-focused weather forecasts and scores, tee times and prices gathered from golf course booking systems, golf weather guides and articles, Dallas–Fort Worth golf events, and golf deals and new gear from other stores. You don't need an account to use it.

Weather information is a forecast, not a guarantee

• Forecasts, GWI scores and “best time to play” suggestions are estimates based on weather data from third parties. Weather can change quickly and forecasts can be wrong.
• Always check current conditions before and during your round, and follow the course's instructions.
• Your safety is your responsibility. If you hear thunder or see lightning, stop playing and get to a safe shelter right away, whatever any forecast or score on this site says. Take heat, cold and other conditions seriously.

Tee times, prices and bookings

• Tee times, prices and availability come from golf courses and their booking partners. They can change at any time, and we can't promise they are complete, current or correct.
• We don't sell tee times. When you book, you book directly with the course or its booking partner, under their terms, prices and cancellation rules. We are not a party to that booking.
• Course star ratings are a snapshot from Google and may be out of date.

Deals, new gear and other stores

• Golf Deals and New Gear list products sold by other stores. Prices, stock, release dates and offers can change or end without notice. The store's own website is the final word on price and availability.
• Purchases are between you and the store. We don't sell products and aren't responsible for orders, shipping, returns or warranties.
• Some store links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Details are in our Privacy Policy & Affiliate Disclosure. As an Amazon Associate, Golf Weather Intelligence earns from qualifying purchases.
• Price alert emails are optional and can be cancelled at any time with the link in each email.

Events

Golf events are gathered from course and organizer websites. Dates, prices and details can change, and events can be cancelled. Please confirm with the organizer before you go.

Links to other websites

The site links to golf courses, booking sites, stores and other websites that we don't control. Their content, terms and privacy practices are their own.

Acceptable use

Please use the site for your own personal, non-commercial golf planning. Don't:

• scrape, copy or republish the site's data, scores or content in bulk, or use automated tools to put heavy load on the site or its tee-time service;
• try to break, overload or get around the site's security or limits;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam (including signing other people up for price alerts).

Our content

The site's design, text, articles, guides and the GWI score are owned by Golf Weather Intelligence. You're welcome to share links to any page. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their owners and are shown only to identify products and stores.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We may change, pause or remove any feature at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Golf Weather Intelligence is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, including relying on a forecast or score, a missed or changed tee time, a weather-related injury, or a purchase from another store. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
